David Omole is an Associate Professor of Water Engineering in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He has a PhD and a Master's degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering. His research focuses on water resources management, water quality, water reuse, stream re-aeration coefficient modelling, sustainable consumption, groundwater quality, and environmental laws/regulations. He is a recipient of the prestigious IFS research grant from Sweden, a KIC grant from NRF, South Africa, a travel/accommodation grant from the German Development Institute, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa.
